1. Origin & Growing Region
Oolong Jasmine is made from the Kim Tuyen Oolong variety, grown in the Bao Loc – Lam Dong plateau at an altitude of 900-1,000m. This land has a temperate climate all year round (18-22°C), with mild sunny days and cold nights, and fog embracing the forest every morning. The mineral-rich red basalt soil helps the tea trees develop thick buds, a refreshing taste, and rich internal qualities, creating the perfect base to blend with the fresh jasmine scent.
2. Harvesting
Tea is harvested all year round, but is best in spring and autumn – when the tea tree has accumulated enough nutrients, the flavor is full, pure and thick. Tea buds are hand-picked according to the standard of “1 bud 3-4 leaves”, choosing buds that are uniform, shiny and intact. Each bud is the crystallization of sunlight, dew and red highland soil.
3. Oolong production process
Harvesting → Withering → Roasting → Stir-frying to kill yeast → Shaping → Drying the finished product → Refining → Infusing fresh jasmine flowers many times (replace with new flowers each time) so that the scent penetrates deeply but does not overpower the tea’s flavor.
4. Taste & Feel
The tea water is bright yellow, the fresh jasmine scent is not strong but gentle, spreading slowly like the cool air at the beginning of the night. The tea flavor retains the essence of oolong: sweet at first, rich in the middle, and long in the end. Each sip is a harmony of floral scent, tea flavor and the breath of the highlands.
